These sweet and salty treats are perfect for snacking on the go or as a topping for salads, yogurt parfaits, or even cocktails. With just 5 minutes of prep time, you can unlock a world of flavor and crunch. So, let’s get started and unleash the magic of keto baking!

Things You’ll Need

Keto Candied Pecans Ingredients
  • Sweet stuff (1/2 cup): Grab your favorite sugar-free granulated sweetener. I love using Lakanto, it works like a charm!
  • Just a pinch of salt (1/4 teaspoon): Don’t skip this! It makes the sweet parts even better.
  • Warm spice (1/4 teaspoon): Ground cinnamon is what we need. It smells amazing and tastes even better.
  • Maple goodness (2 tablespoons): Sugar-free maple syrup, please! Again, Lakanto is my go-to.
  • Nutty friends (1 cup): Pecan halves are the star here. So good!
  • A hint of magic (1 teaspoon): This is your vanilla extract. It’s optional, but why not make it extra yummy?

Let’s Get Cooking!

  1. Mix it up: Get a small pan and put in everything but the pecans. Yes, everything! Turn the heat to medium and stir for a bit. You want all that sweet stuff to melt and get bubbly. This should take just a minute or two.
  2. Pecan time: Now, toss in the pecans and keep stirring. Make sure each pecan gets a nice coat of the yummy mix. Keep doing this for about 3-4 minutes. You want them to look all glazed and happy.
  3. Chill out: Take the pan off the heat. Get some baking paper and spread the pecans on it. Let them cool down all the way. No rush!

That’s it! You just made the best keto candied pecans. They’re great for snacks, on salads, or just when you need a sweet treat. Enjoy, friends!

Cooking the Keto Candy Glaze

In this recipe, we’ll be making a keto candy glaze by combining the sweetener, salt, cinnamon, and maple-flavored syrup in a small to medium-sized skillet. Cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes or until the sweetener dissolves and the mixture is bubbling. This crucial step ensures that the flavors meld together and the glaze reaches the perfect consistency.

Adding the Pecans

Once the glaze is ready, add the pecan halves to the skillet and stir to coat them evenly. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the pecans are well-coated and slightly caramelized. The key is to stir frequently to prevent burning and ensure that the pecans are evenly coated.

Serving Suggestions

These Keto Candied Pecans are perfect as a snack on their own or as a topping for salads, yogurt, or oatmeal. You can also use them as a decoration for your favorite desserts or as a crunchy addition to your favorite trail mix recipes. The possibilities are endless!

Storage Tips

To keep your Keto Candied Pecans fresh for a longer period, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months. When you’re ready to enjoy them, simply let them come to room temperature or microwave them for a few seconds to restore their crunch.

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do! With its perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, these Keto Candied Pecans are sure to become a new favorite in your household.
